1Money is hiring its second information security team member. This is a rare opportunity to join a lean, fast-moving fintech at the ground floor and co-own a broad security portfolio from day one. You will work directly alongside our CISO, covering a wide range of objectives across cloud security, application security, detection and response, identity, and compliance engineering. Over time, you will have the freedom and support to develop a primary specialty in the area that energizes you most.

- Application & Product Security:
- Partner with engineering to embed security into the SDLC.
- Conduct threat modeling, design reviews, and code-level security assessments.
- Manage vulnerability disclosure, dependency scanning, and CI/CD tooling.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Security:
- Harden and monitor AWS environments.
- Manage and tune cloud security posture tools and respond to findings.
- Support architectural reviews for new services and infrastructure changes.
- Detection, Response & SIEM:
- Build and tune detection rules across SIEM, EDR, cloud, and app logs.
- Lead incident investigations, triage alerts, and drive response activities.
- Develop playbooks and runbooks to reduce response times.
- Identity & Endpoint:
- Administer and evolve identity infrastructure including SSO, MFA, and FIDO2/passkey controls.
- Support MDM policies and endpoint security controls for a distributed Mac fleet.
- Drive network security initiatives for a fully remote workforce.
- Compliance Engineering:
- Translate compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001) into actionable technical controls.
- Integrate evidence collection and control validation into engineering workflows.
- Partner with the CISO on audit preparation and regulatory engagements.
Qualifications
Required:- 5+ years of experience in hands-on security engineering.
- Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals, particularly AWS.
- Experience with at least two of: appsec, detection engineering, identity, cloud posture, or incident response.
- Ability to read and write code in at least one language (Rust, TypeScript, Go, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Bonus Factors
- Familiarity with stablecoin or blockchain security.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or digital assets.
- Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or similar.
- Background in building security tooling or automation.
